Amex Offers Marketing Operations (AOMO), part of Amex Offers Digital Media (AODM) is a global organization that sits within MEMBERSHIP PORTFOLIO SERVICES (MPS) within the US Consumer Services Business. MPS is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model by connecting Card Members with Merchants that create opportunities to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.
AOMO is Marketing Operations center of excellence within AODM with the charter of driving high quality, customer-first marketing that accelerates business growth through optimized go-to-market solutions and the development of best-in-class mar tech products & processes.

 This role will report to the Director of Amex Offers Marketing Governance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Amex Offers or similar digital marketing operations 
  • Prior experience in marketing governance and/or offer setup & execution
  • Working familiarity with AI applications
  • Providing strategic campaign consultation to partners across Merchant, Consumer, Small Business and other enterprise customers including data and governance guidance to jointly achieve goals and execute flawlessly.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders including Marketing Execution, Client Management, Marketers, Creative Review, Control Management, GCO and Compliance to align on campaign feasibility and overall risk.

  • Identifying and driving end-to-end process improvements with a focus on governance to increase capacity and speed to market.

  • Understanding the systems and platforms the AOMG team uses and how they support and impact the review process and campaigns.

  • Understanding how Merchant data is set up, which governance principles apply and how to translate that into flawless offer fulfillment, and working with the Setup & Execution team to deliver Amex Offers.
