Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Critical Care Float for a travel nursing job in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

13-week ICU RN assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week working 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. The RN provides comprehensive critical care to adult and geriatric patients using the nursing process, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and coordinates individualized plans of care. Floating may be required to other ICU units and Medical-Surgical units based on staffing needs. Every third weekend is required. Requirements: Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification
Adult and geriatric critical care experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Experience interpreting cardiac rhythms preferred
Experience caring for fresh open-heart surgery patients preferred
Experience with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) devices preferred
Ability to float to other ICU and Medical-Surgical units as needed
Current specialty skills checklist and two supervisory references required
