We are powered by a team that shares our passion to create a future with more cheers. Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead the product execution of EDGE.AI. This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, data science, and commercial business strategy, serving as the connection between highly technical teams, AB central strategy, and sales reps in the field.
This person will ensure that Anheuser-Busch strategy is accurately represented in the AI engine, clearly expressed in the user experience, and ultimately delivers meaningful, measurable impact in the market.
About EDGE:
EDGE (Every Day Great Execution) is Anheuser-Busch's most critical frontline sales program. EDGE translates AB's commercial strategy into clear, actionable priorities for more than 10,000 frontline sales representatives across the United States.
Through EDGE's planning portal, Commercial Directors across the country define monthly sales priorities. Those priorities are then operationalized and delivered directly to sales reps' handheld devices, guiding what to execute in each individual account. For example, a convenience store in North Dakota may need to expand Bud Light distribution, while a neighborhood bar in Illinois may focus on Super Bowl displays.
In 2026, EDGE is entering its next evolution: EDGE.AI. By introducing AI-driven decisioning, we are personalizing sales strategy down to the individual account level.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Ownership & Strategy
  • Own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for EDGE.AI, aligning tightly with AB commercial strategy
  • Translate high-level business priorities into clear, actionable product requirements
  • Balance competing priorities, timelines, and dependencies while maintaining focus on highest-value outcomes

Technical Product Execution
  • Partner closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to guide solution design and delivery
  • Author extremely detailed, developer-ready epics, features, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure requirements are precise, testable, and grounded in real business use cases
  • Manage backlog prioritization and sprint planning in a fast-moving, complex environment

Business Partnership
  • Act as the primary bridge between technical teams and the business
  • Hold regular working sessions with On-Premise and Off-Premise strategy teams
  • Validate that AI-generated objectives align with AB strategy and make sense in real-world accounts
  • Partner with field teams to pressure-test outputs and ensure solutions are intuitive and actionable

Pilots, Testing & Field Validation
  • Lead pilots and controlled rollouts to test EDGE.AI capabilities
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback from the field
  • Iterate quickly to improve performance, usability, and business impact
  • Ensure AI-driven objectives positively influence sales execution and market results

What Success Looks Like
  • EDGE.AI objectives are trusted by the field and meaningfully influence daily sales execution
  • Business strategy is authentically and transparently embedded in AI decisioning
  • Technical teams have clear, detailed requirements that enable efficient development
  • Stakeholders across commercial, technical, and field teams are aligned and confident in the product direction
  • 5 days in office

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong product management or technical product ownership experience
  • Proven ability to build and manage product roadmaps
  • Experience writing highly detailed epics, features, and requirements for engineering teams
  • Comfort working with AI, data science, or advanced analytics teams (hands-on coding not required)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and competing priorities with rigor
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with frontline sales, commercial strategy, or enterprise platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting pilots, experimentation, or scaled rollouts a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
