Job description

🏥 EVS Housekeeping Associate (2nd Shift)

🕒 2nd Shift: Afternoon/Evening Hours

What You'll Do:

  • Clean patient rooms, ER, OR, clinics, offices, and restrooms.
  • Perform routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning.
  • Safely handle trash and medical waste.
  • Complete floor care duties including mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and buffing.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
  • Follow infection control and hospital safety procedures.

What We're Looking For:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Stable work history (6+ months per position preferred).
  • Comfortable working around patients and medical waste.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, pushing, and kneeling.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Housekeeping or janitorial experience (hospital experience preferred).
  • Experience using floor care equipment.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $17.00/hr.
