We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking a Manager, Performance Marketing & Insights to join our Consumer Marketing & Media team based in our New York, NY offices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ANALYTICS AND OPTIMIZATIONS: Provide strategic recommendation on optimizations needed, based on performance insights from internal and external reporting platforms - in partnership with the media agency
  • Evaluate performance trends by campaign, platform, audience, and creative to support paid media planning across AMCN subscription video on demand services, detailing recommended tactics and budgets across the subscriber acquisition funnel (awareness, consideration, conversion and retention).
  • Provide recommendation on budget shifts between platforms, campaigns, and services to maximize efficiency, engagement, and LTV.

FORECASTING & PLANNING: Measure the performance of content on SVODs to inform future marketing and audience strategies.
  • Assist with forecasting across AMCN SVODs based on media plan recommendations including assisting with scenario analysis and forecasting to support decision making for optimal media plans.
  • Support strategic planning and marketing investment planning with subscriber growth opportunities model and executive-ready presentations to summarize key findings and recommendations.

MARKETING ENABLEMENT:
  • Work with Product/Tech, Legal and other relevant teams to ensure enablement of functions that may ease tracking, reporting, and ease of site/app entry
  • Ensure proper mapping and accuracy of overall reporting aligns with actual performance / media plans
  • Support audience strategy, alignment, optimization, and delivery to drive campaign efficiency and alignment of efforts for acquisition and retention

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:
  • Work with finance, research, and BI teams on forecasting and reporting across various growth scenarios.
  • Support operational and executive reporting requirements for performance marketing team based on consistent metrics and KPIs across all AMCN SVODs.
  • Coordinate with Content Strategy to leverage content across the variety of advertising and engagement platforms and provide audience performance insights to guide nimble editorial strategies

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
  • 5-7 years of experience in consulting, media agency, or a quantitative/data-driven role in digital media / subscription space.
  • An understanding of streaming, subscription, and digital marketing KPIs.
  • Very strong analytical skills with ability to derive insights from data; data-driven decision maker.
  • Strong communicator (verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven capability in managing projects, processes, and budgets
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and expert written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related or quantitative field.

The base compensation for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience.
