Join the launch of Destination Superior-a brand-new EMS initiative serving the Twin Port Communities. We are seeking dedicated Paramedics and EMTs who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and want to help shape the future of this growing service.
Education Qualifications:
  • No education requirement

We're offering a $5,000 - 7,500 sign on bonus with this position! For eligible candidates only.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responds to an emergent and non-emergent calls &/or hospital codes
  • Provides Medical Support & Care for Patients in the pre-hospital and/or hospital environment
  • Assists in the ongoing assessment of patients by identifying the patient's needs and requirements to determine best course of treatment
  • Provides advanced medical care and basic life support service to patients using appropriate medical equipment, devices and treatment modalities

Two 18-hour shifts OR one 24-hour shift + one 12-hour shift per week
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
  • State licensure/certification as a Paramedic or a Registered Nurse authorized to operate as a Paramedic in the appropriate state of practice.
  • All Wisconsin location staff must be dual licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required at time of hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification required at time of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency
  • Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer
  • State Background check must provide clearance to work with vulnerable adults.
