Primary Therapist

Ambrosia Behavioral Health is revolutionizing behavioral, substance use, and eating disorder treatment for adolescents by combining cutting edge neuroscience and precision diagnostics with compassionate, evidence-based therapies. We provide individualized, holistic, trauma-informed care in a supportive and healing environment that improves patient outcomes and empowers patients toward long-term recovery.

Adolescent Primary Therapist

  • Primary Therapist is responsible for providing excellent comprehensive clinical care to adolescents.
  • Conducts individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with written treatment plan based upon assessed needs.
  • Coordinates all services for patient care and assists in crisis intervention.
  • Effectively communicates relevant clinical information to the Patient, family, group, and Ambrosia staff.
  • Completes all documentation according to Company and regulatory requirements.
  • On call responsibility on a rotating schedule with all Clinicians.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work or related human services field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience with adolescents.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an outpatient, day treatment, residential and/or hospital setting.
  • An excellent understanding of family systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass a Level 2 background check.
  • Shift is Sunday - Thursday, preferably
