Job description

Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports - including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.
As a Product Manager in Amazon Prime Video, you will own the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. You'll get to work on projects that are fast-paced, challenging, and varied. You'll also be able to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people. We'll look for you to bring your diverse perspectives, ideas, and skill-sets to make Prime Video even better for our customers.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager - Tech, you will have ownership of and help define the vision and build the roadmap for the future of Prime Video on Mobile. You will participate in developing the strategy and vision, and develop product roadmaps translated into crisp business requirements and user stories to execute on that vision. You understand how AI, including agentic systems, is reshaping product development and apply this understanding to make better product decisions. You leverage AI to accelerate development cycles to deliver benefit to customers faster. This role is inherently cross-functional working across teams internal to Prime Video such as engineering, personalization, UX, research, marketing, and finance to enable Prime Video to meet its mission of becoming a global entertainment destination. You will leverage mental models and data-driven decision-making, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with leaders at all levels. You will help define and obsess over a set of input and output metrics to measure the health of your experience(s) and set bold yet achievable goals which deliver meaningful outcomes for the business and customers.
We are looking for someone with experience in driving cross-functional projects. You must possess strong business judgement, a deep customer-centric mindset, interest in the streaming landscape, and technical proficiency that enables you to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality products that customers love. The ability to navigate trade-offs, ambiguity, and influence without authority are critical.
About the team
The Prime Video Mobile team owns the Prime Video experience on Mobile devices worldwide. This includes mobile phones on iOS and Android operating systems as well as tablets. We obsess over the customer experience by taking a mobile-first approach to building product, thinking about the unique advantages and challenges that come with this on-the-go device family. We own developing, launching, and maintaining the PV application on millions of mobile devices worldwide, optimizing for building a delightful experience across all points in the customer lifecycle from awareness, acquisition, onboarding and activation, engagement, and retention.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
