With our recently launched Protein Treats and Protein Granola we're continuing to find new ways to make mornings magical - all made possible by our incredible team.
We're looking for a strategic, performance-minded Senior Manager of Acquisition to lead Magic Spoon's paid demand engine across DTC. This is a critical growth role focused on driving efficient customer acquisition and scaling our core acquisition channels across Meta, YouTube, podcasts, influencer, and emerging platforms, while also providing strategic oversight for Amazon and TikTok Shop in partnership with external agencies.
The ideal candidate is a sharp paid social operator with a strong performance marketing foundation, a proven track record scaling acquisition programs, and a keen eye on the broader acquisition ecosystem, balancing creative strategy, testing, media efficiency, and smart budget trade-offs to drive incremental growth across channels.
This is a full time role with a preference for in person/hybrid work based in Tribeca, New York City (Tue/Wed/Thu in office). We are also open to remote candidates across the US. This role will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Omni-channel Growth Marketing.
DTC Paid Social
  • Own paid social acquisition end-to-end - Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms - as Magic Spoon's primary DTC new-customer engine.
  • Direct agency and consultant resources, keeping briefs, creative testing roadmaps, audience strategy, and pacing on track.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand to develop performance-led creative; build tight feedback loops between testing learnings and creative production.
  • Forecast and manage the paid social budget; own CAC, ROAS, contribution margin, and new-to-brand mix.
  • Own the paid social testing roadmap - formats, audiences, offers, landing pages - and codify learnings across the team.
Mid-Funnel Media (Podcast, Influencer, YouTube)
  • Own management and execution of mid-funnel channels: podcast, influencer, and YouTube/OLV.
  • Manage external partners and onboard new ones where useful; build a creator and partnership roster that ladders to brand and growth goals.
  • Lead the measurement strategy across channels, leveraging internal MMT and MMM insights to build a strong testing roadmap, inform media planning and creative decisions, and drive incremental business impact across the broader acquisition ecosystem.
  • Top-of-funnel (CTV/linear, programmatic) support as it makes sense
Marketplace Oversight (Amazon & TikTok Shop)
  • Lead strategic oversight of the Amazon business, managing agency partners across media, PDP optimization, forecasting, promotions, and operational execution to drive profitable growth.
  • Oversee TikTok Shop in coordination with the Sr. Director and Brand team, managing agency partners, affiliate programs, creator partnerships, paid GMV ads, and cross-functional coordination with Ops to support execution and growth.
  • Coordinate marketplace planning with the broader acquisition mix; partner with Operations and Finance on marketplace forecasting and supply chain coordination.

Measurement, Forecasting & Cross-Functional
  • Support the acquisition measurement approach - MMM, MMT, lift testing, survey - and translate complex results into clear decisions for the team.
  • Forecast and manage the cross-channel acquisition budget in partnership with Finance; surface trade-offs and ensure efficiency across channels.
  • Partner with Retention, Retail, and Brand on integrated campaigns, promo planning, and demand shaping.
  • Provide consolidated POVs and feedback across teams; ensure media learnings inform broader marketing and business strategy.

Requirements
  • 6+ years in paid media, paid acquisition, or growth marketing, with direct channel ownership and budget accountability.
  • Deep hands-on experience driving paid social acquisition (Meta, TikTok) for a CPG and DTC brand.
  • Experience at a CPG or DTC brand with omnichannel distribution preferred.
  • Operational fluency across performance and growth marketing channels, with familiarity in areas such as podcast, influencer, and YouTube/OLV.

  • Amazon or TikTok Shop experience a plus but not required.
  • Experience with measurement methodologies - MMM/MMT, lift, attribution, survey - is a bonus.
  • A passion for food, CPG, and the fast-evolving acquisition landscape.

Benefits
