Amazon DSP Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Operations
Schedule: Full-Time, including weekends and holidays as needed

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead and support the daily operations of an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP). This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable delivery operations.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, understands operational metrics, and can balance safety, productivity, customer service, and employee accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for Team Leads, providing daily direction, support, and guidance to ensure efficient execution of delivery operations.
  • Develop and manage daily labor plans to optimize staffing levels, control labor costs, and maximize the effective utilization of support staff.
  • Plan, monitor, and adjust daily and weekly route capacities to align staffing resources with operational demand and Amazon service requirements.
  • Partner with the Training Manager to coordinate onboarding, coaching, retraining, and ongoing development plans for Team Leads and Delivery Associates.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to ensure sufficient fleet availability, coordinate scheduled maintenance, and minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Monitor operational performance and drive accountability for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer service metrics.
  • Partner with Human Resources and the Training Manager to administer corrective action, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary processes in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
  • Lead the reporting and documentation of vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, property damage, and other operational incidents, ensuring timely completion of required reports and investigations.
  • Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, Amazon Delivery Service Partner standards, and all applicable safety and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and key performance indicators to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Support administrative functions including scheduling, payroll verification, reporting, and operational recordkeeping as needed.
  • Provide leadership coverage for daily operations, including assisting with dispatch, loadout, or delivery routes when business needs require.
  • Foster a positive, safety-focused, and accountable work environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational excellence.
