Security is critical to Amazon's customer trust. The Amazon Security Platform Engineering team provides our security professionals the tools they need to succeed

We work across Amazon, including AWS, retail, and subsidiary business units. In support of our partners, you'll have opportunities to learn about security response and detection while building and maintaining our team's software.
We build platforms and services to develop capabilities for security engineers to automate their work.

- Design, implement and maintain platform services and features using AWS to build highly scalable solutions.
- Automate deployments, upgrades and system changes to ensure continous operations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their use cases and build solutions to automate their workflows.
- Enable customers to automate security tasks and track success metrics using our tooling
- Participate in on-call operations to ensure system reliability and continuity across the company
- Identify opportunities to enhance skills in software development, cloud computing and security
