Job description

Seeking an experienced executive to join our Distribution Strategy team within Amazon MGM Studios Distribution. This individual will help set the overall strategy of the organization and lead ad-hoc projects to solve business-critical issues. This role has high visibility within the organization and will work closely with stakeholders across creative development, content acquisition, finance, marketing, programming, content operations, legal, etc.

Role requires a strong understanding of the entertainment business, excellent analytical skills, and ability to serve as a distribution strategy thought leader to senior leadership and the broader Amazon MGM Studios Distribution organization.
Key job responsibilities
Work with the Head of Distribution Strategy to influence overall strategic and business direction.
Execute internal programming mechanisms that deploy the MGM catalog to Prime Video and MGM+ globally, review KPIs regularly to optimize performance.
Own strategy documents to increase demand for various media rights tied to the studio's output/catalog.
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency across the distribution pipeline (particularly via AI automation).
Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with leaders across stakeholder groups, ensuring the team operates as a trusted strategic partner for Amazon MGM Studios Distribution and the studio at large.

Amazon MGM Studios Distribution is a division within Prime Video. We manage an extensive portfolio of premium content, overseeing the licensing of both Amazon MGM Studios' original productions and MGM's renowned film and television catalog. Our portfolio spans iconic franchises like James Bond, Rocky, and Creed, acclaimed series such as The Handmaid's Tale and Fargo, and current theatrical releases including Project Hail Mary, Masters of the Universe, and The Thomas Crown Affair.
