Job description

Amazon Merch on Demand is building a team store experience that transforms how teams get outfitted. We are looking for a Product Manager, Technical to own this product end to end: the vision, the strategy, and the delivery. We need someone who thinks beyond the first launch, who can see where this product goes next, identify new customer segments, and build a foundation that scales. You will influence across organizational boundaries, partnering with senior leaders across Merch, retail, and partner organizations to shape direction and drive decisions. You will work closely with engineering, design, data science, and business development, and your work will directly support high-profile strategic partnerships. If you want to build something new at Amazon scale with real ownership and visibility, this is the role.
Key job responsibilities
* Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our customizable product experiences, balancing short-term wins with long-term strategic goals and contributing to operational narratives
* Frame and lead discussions with key stakeholders to assess opportunities, make data-driven recommendations, and build consensus through tradeoff discussions while navigating complex innovation, practicality, and risk trade-offs
* Establish goals and key business indicators and drive product discovery, prioritization, and delivery in partnership with cross-functional teams
* Explore and implement AI-driven solutions for design assistance, personalization recommendations, and workflow automation while working cross-functionally with designers, engineers, operations, legal, content policy, and business development
* Increase insights on customer behavior and pain points while continually monitoring technology trends in AI, customization platforms, and e-commerce innovation
* Oversee user interface design, usability testing, customer research, metrics and data analysis, product launch and go-to-market strategy for customization experiences
* Manage bottlenecks, resolve escalations, optimize feature roadmaps, influence strategic direction, and make smart trade-offs while ensuring delivery of the right product solutions
A day in the life
You might start the morning reviewing product usage data to spot opportunities for improvement, then partner with design on a feature that drives adoption. By midday you're on a call with a strategic partner shaping requirements for an exciting upcoming launch, and after lunch you're making build-vs-extend tradeoffs with your engineering lead. Late afternoon you're drafting a one-pager making the case for expanding into a new customer segment, and before end of day you're collaborating with Legal to shape a policy that unlocks a better customer experience. The common thread: you're constantly moving between strategic thinking and tactical execution, influencing a cross-functional team to move in the same direction.
