Job Title: House Manager & Family Assistant (with Light Meal Prep Support)

Location: Tampa, FL 33614

Employment Type: Part-Time (2025 hours/week)

Proposed Start Date: ASAP

Compensation: $3035/hour, based on experience

Requirements:

Proposed Schedule:
  • Core Hours: MondayFriday, 1:005:00 PM

We're looking for a warm, reliable House Manager and Family Assistant to join our team. This role will provide the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our household by ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll be the backbone of our home, keeping it organized, managing logistics, supporting meal prep, and occasionally stepping in with childcare. Key Responsibilities:Household Management & Organization:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the primary and secondary homes, ensuring a "resort-ready" appearance.
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily; maintain overall neatness, ensure hope is prepped for cleaning services.
  • Handle light laundry, including steaming wrinkled items and occasional ironing.
  • Manage household inventory (groceries, toiletries, supplies).
  • Supervise and coordinate with service providers/vendors (e.g., handymen, cleaners, landscapers)
  • Assist with vendor coordination (pool care, maintenance, etc.).
Inventory Management & Errands:
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Oversee and manage Amazon orders and package handling
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
Meal Planning & Preparation:
  • Support meal planning and prep healthy balanced meals and snacks for adults and kids a few times per week.
  • Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and kitchen clean-up.
Pet Care:
  • Walk and care for the 20-25 lb Cavapoo when the family is absent.
  • Coordinate vet and grooming appointments.
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized.
Family Support & Child Assistance:
  • Occasional pick-ups/drop-offs for school and extracurricular activities.
  • Assist with prepping school bags, snacks, and meals for kids.
  • Provide backup childcare support when needed - if both parents are headed to various events and there needs to be another driver.
Vehicle Management:
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance, oil changes, and inspections
  • Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized
  • Track registration, insurance, and service schedules
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support:
  • Provide assistance for hosting family events and guest preparations.
  • Help coordinate and execute holiday plans and activities to include additional appointments as needed.
  • Help with travel planning, scheduling and logistics.
  • Awareness of family calendar & sending of reminders.
