Job description

The Amazon Digital Advertising team (ADA) focuses on leveraging Amazon's Advertising DSP to support the digital marketing initiatives of Amazon's own strategic businesses. Our stakeholders are the internal marketing teams across Amazon and their agencies of record. Our mission is to develop better digital advertising programs for those businesses.

We operate across marketing, program management, and new product development. This specific role will manage display and video ad programs on behalf of large internal Amazon advertisers who prioritize marketing objectives ranging from driving brand perception to purchases.
The ADA Agency Engagement program grants leading external agencies - including OMG, WPP, and Dentsu - the ability to execute programmatic advertising via the Amazon DSP (ADSP) on behalf of internal advertisers such as Cross-Channel Marketing (XCM), Prime Video, and Amazon Business.

Our marketing teams serve as "Customer 0": the flagship ADSP customer whose day-to-day partnership delivers dual value - advancing Amazon's marketing objectives while surfacing product insights that sharpen our roadmaps and accelerate innovation.
The Agency Engagement team owns the full agency lifecycle on ADSP: onboarding, knowledge assessment, training, and ongoing campaign support in partnership with ADSP Programmatic Solutions Consultants (PSCs). This includes establishing accounts, delivering best-practice SOPs, QA-ing campaigns pre-launch, monitoring live activations, and resolving issues in real time. Beyond campaign operations, the team identifies ADSP product and supply gaps relative to competing DSPs, partners with Amazon Ads' Open Internet Supply team to migrate direct IO buys onto ADSP, and co-develops case studies that demonstrate ADSP's ability to achieve diverse campaign objectives.
ADA Marketing Managers bring deep advertiser context and cross-functional knowledge, enabling tailored support across strategic account growth, upstream planning, supply and DSP feature enablement, VOC advocacy, and product gap escalation

As the team scales its media buying and measurement capabilities, we are building a team of experts who are passionate about the possibilities within Amazon Advertising - and who relentlessly innovate on behalf of our internal partners.
Key job responsibilities
As an Amazon Advertising expert, the Marketing Manager designs, manages, and scales high-impact display programs through the Amazon DSP - driving innovation at the intersection of performance marketing and ad technology.
Key aspects of the role:
- Collaborate with internal business partners and external agency teams to develop a deep understanding of marketing objectives, translating insights into targeted ADSP solutions that drive measurable results.
-Synthesize internal marketing demand and agency voice-of-customer (VOC) to inform and accelerate Amazon DSP platform innovation.
-Identify third-party supply and ADSP feature requirements that enable agency-of-record adoption of ADSP for internal marketing programs.
-Build and refine campaign delivery frameworks with agency teams, continuously gathering performance insights to maximize program value.
-Regularly audit operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and drive down the cost-to-serve across programs.
-Champion the development of Amazon Advertising solutions by documenting feature gaps, authoring requirements, and building compelling business cases for internal Ad Tech teams.
-Develop and evangelize new programmatic initiatives that leverage emerging ad tech capabilities and supply innovations.
-Partner with Ad Tech and product teams to co-create and execute against ambitious roadmaps with clear accountability.
-Define clear success metrics with internal marketers and agency partners, design structured experiments, and conduct deep data analysis to surface actionable opportunities.
-Oversee end-to-end campaign management consulting across diverse audience segments, inventory sources, and ad formats - ensuring delivery excellence and continuous optimization.
A day in the life
Your morning kicks off reviewing live campaign dashboards across Amazon DSP, catching a delivery anomaly before the agency even spots it. By mid-morning, you're on a call with Hold Co agency strategists, aligning a advertiser campaign brief to unlock new CTV inventory. After lunch, you dive deep into performance data, uncovering an audience insight that reshapes targeting for an advertiser initiative

You then join a product sync with Amazon DSP Product leads, pitching a feature enhancement born from agency VOC feedback. The day wraps with you drafting a case study proving ADSP outperformed a key Business benchmark - fueling the next wave of adoption.
About the team
The Amazon Digital Advertising (ADA) Agency Engagement team sits at the crossroads of marketing innovation and ad technology. Our mission is to empower Amazon's internal marketing teams by partnering with world-class agencies like OMG, WPP, and Dentsu to execute high-impact digital advertising through the Amazon DSP

We serve as "Customer 0," using every campaign to advance marketing goals while sharpening Amazon DSP product roadmaps. Our culture thrives on curiosity, ownership, and relentless customer obsession - building programmatic experts who innovate boldly, dive deep into data, and deliver measurable results at scale.
