Partner Marketing Manager, Government Division
About the Role
Amazon Leo for Government is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to drive co-marketing strategy and execution with technology and channel partners across the government sector. You'll own the partner marketing playbook - building programs that generate pipeline, sharpen joint positioning, and put our solutions in front of federal, defense, and intelligence buyers.
This role sits at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, and government sales. You'll work directly with business development, sales, product, and partner teams to build joint go-to-market strategy.

Key job responsibilities
-Own the partner marketing strategy for the government division, aligned to business priorities and partner goals
-Build and run co-marketing programs - campaigns, events, webinars, content - with system integrators, ISVs, and defense primes
-Develop joint value propositions and go-to-market materials (solution briefs, case studies, sales enablement) that clearly articulate the combined value of our offerings with partner capabilities
-Drive demand generation through integrated campaigns targeting government and defense buyers, with a focus on partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
-Support partner presence at key industry events - both internal Amazon events and industry events
-Define and track KPIs - pipeline contribution, campaign performance, partner engagement - and report results to leadership
-Build strong relationships with partner marketing counterparts to ensure alignment on goals, messaging, assets and strategy execution
-Ensure compliance with government marketing regulations and internal policies across all activities
-Enable new partner readiness by working closely with internal team and partner personnel to make sure partners are aware of - and comfortable with - all marketing tools, guidelines and materials to generate a fast start to promoting Amazon Leo.
Export Control : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent
- 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- 3+ years of working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies experience
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
- Proven track record of developing and executing co-marketing programs with technology partners
- Strong understanding of the government procurement landscape and compliance requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- MBA, or Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
- Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies
- 5+ years of working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies experience
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
- Experience marketing satellite communications, space technology, or defense and intelligence solutions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
