Job description

Join Amazon's Legal Department to provide strategic counsel for Amazon Freight's enterprise transportation services. You'll draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, advise on regulatory compliance and AI governance, and partner with cross-functional teams to enable responsible business growth. This role offers high visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to shape legal frameworks for an innovative logistics broker serving Fortune 500 clients.
Key job responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and provide strategic counsel on complex service agreements with enterprise customers and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance
- Advise senior executives on regulatory compliance, product development, data protection, security requirements, and public policy matters affecting transportation operations
- Provide legal guidance on artificial intelligence applications, including confidentiality protocols, accuracy standards, and bias prevention measures
- Manage legal issues in existing customer and partner relationships, including dispute resolution and contract interpretation
- Partner with Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to integrate legal risk assessment into strategic initiatives
- Support legal team projects that advance Amazon Freight's business objectives and operational excellence
