Job description

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate individual to lead our global B2B marketing team

Jobs like this don't come along often. You'll be a key part of the team establishing Amazon Leo as a trusted and loved global brand and force in the global connectivity market for mid-sized to large businesses. You'll oversee B2B acquisition and field marketing in multiple markets around the globe driving the campaigns and customer evidence that fuel the sales pipeline; Partner Marketing where you'll establish the global strategy, help establish the programs, and drive the motion to sell to, through and with an ecosystem of partners around the world; lifecycle marketing where you'll craft the onboarding and retention journeys that ensure customers are staying and deepening their relationships with us over time; and executive engagement, including running Amazon Leo's Executive Briefing Center, CEO Council, industry analyst relations program, and partnership with AWS.


Your team will partner closely with Integrated Marketing to create global media plans and brand and social media campaigns and execute sponsorships that help establish Amazon Leo as a top of mind choice for business and communications decision makers. And you'll partner with Product Marketing to drive the content that fuels sales success. You'll also lead the team's innovation agenda, including how create brand fame with new moves that deliver exceptional customer value.

Adaptability to changing team needs, market conditions, and external factors is critically important, as is the ability to partner and collaborate closely with cross-Amazon teams and external partners.
Key job responsibilities
Deeply understand target business customers and industry-specific needs, working with research, sales, industry resources to d. Prioritize your team, budget, and cross-functional resources to capitalize the most significant opportunities.
Lead global field marketing and demand generation/capture

Formulate and execute global, national, local, ABM campaigns to grow and accelerate enterprise and mid-market business pipeline.
Lead global partner marketing driving the highest standards for partner onboarding, enablement, and execution. Oversee market development funds (MDF) allocation to drive the highest value opportunities.
Orchestrate enterprise and mid-market customer journeys from lead to close.
Oversee lifecycle marketing with responsibility for customer onboarding and campaigns to deepen/grow relationships focused on high-value actions that reduce/mitigate churn and have high propensity to grow revenues per account.
Interrogate marketing performance consistently, driving for continuous improvement in brand awareness, preference, conversion, deal cycle time, churn, and customer/partner satisfaction.
Establish close working relationships with AWS to identify top opportunities, build joint market motions, including shared investments in executive engagement facilities and programs globally.
Lead the Amazon Leo Executive Briefing Center program and team globally, serving c-level decision makers with customized and deep programming that accelerates deal velocity.
Bring the Amazon Leo brand to life for B2B customers globally, partnering with integrated marketing (media, sponsorships, social, brand strategy).
Hire the best and grow existing talent to build a world-class B2B marketing machine with a team of fulfilled, engaged, and hyper-effective marketers.
Be on the pulse of current and emerging research and data in marketing, marketing efficiency, and martech
