Job Summary:
Expedition Technology is seeking an experienced Cloud Development Software Engineer to join their collaborative team in Herndon, VA. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) while supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Communities.
Responsibilities:
• Manage cleared Cloud deployments using C2S
• Work with a team to manage existing AWS infrastructure in GovCloud
• Utilize your DevOps skills to maintain and support software engineering efforts
• Employ your software engineering skills to design and develop CloudFormation templates for reusability
• Reach across cleared and uncleared environments to develop compatible infrastructure
Qualifications:
Required:
• United States Citizenship – this position requires an active US government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance for which you must be a US Citizen to obtain
• An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Experience with Cloud deployments in a cleared environment
• Experience with DevOps best practices
• Containerization experience
• Prior support of CI/CD development
• Experience with developing CloudFormation templates
• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Preferred:
• Backend software engineering expertise to understand developers’ needs and the ability to write code to facilitate complicated infrastructure tasks
• Kubernetes experience
