Overview
Join our dynamic logistics team as an Amazon DSP Dispatcher, where you'll play a vital role in orchestrating efficient delivery operations for our rapidly growing delivery network. This energetic position offers the opportunity to coordinate freight movement, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries through expert dispatching and transportation management. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule delivery routes using transportation management systems.
  • Utilize GPS and GIS tools to monitor vehicle locations, track shipments, and adjust dispatch plans proactively.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers (3PL) via multi-line phone systems and other communication platforms.
  • Manage freight shipments by verifying shipping & receiving details, updating data entry logs, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Use analysis skills to troubleshoot dispatch issues, optimize delivery sequences, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, vehicle statuses, and shipment.
  • Provide exceptional phone etiquette and clear communication to resolve issues swiftly while maintaining positive relationships with drivers and partners.
    Qualifications

    Experience

    • Proven experience in transportation management, dispatching, or logistics coordination within a supply chain environment.
    • Familiarity with GIS, GPS technology, and transportation planning tools.
    • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data related to package movement, fleet management, and shipping schedules.
    • Knowledge of "load-out" operations including shipping & receiving procedures and fleet management practices.
    • Excellent communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette for interacting with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Proficiency in data entry tasks using systems like AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
    • Experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling high-volume communication environments is preferred.
