Job Description
Role: Big Data Architect
Hire Type: Fulltime
Locations for this position can be most cities in US. This position will require regular travel (80% +). This position may require relocation.
Note from client: AWS/Azure is good to have (Need AWS or Azure leaning candidates if they have other Java or .Net development experience)
As a Technology Architect, you will provide top-notch solution design and implementations; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; develop Proof of Concepts, innovate in solution development, solve problems and support Infosys brand.
Preferred
At least 5+ years of overall design and development experience
At least 4+ years of experience with Big Data & Analytics solutions - Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Spark, Storm, Amazon Kinesis, AWS EMR, AWS RedShift, DynamoDB, Azure HDInsight, Azure Cortana Analytics, Azure Data Lake and other technologies
At least 2 years of experience in deploying Big Data solutions (Hadoop ecosystem) on cloud technologies - Amazon AWS.
At least 2 years of experience architecting solutions and working on a client facing environment.
Development experience in Java, Python, Scala
Experience working on data management domain with big data, Oracle, SQL or other database solutions
Experience in DevOps technologies preferred
Understanding of market and technology trends.
Analytical and problem solving skills

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
