About the Role
Prime Video is building the future of how the world discovers what to watch - and promotional video is where that discovery begins

Every Quick Clip and Video Sizzle is a customer's first moving impression of a title, and it has seconds to land in their language, their culture, and their emotional register. The Localization Enablement & Accessibility Program (LEAP) is hiring a Creative Director [Video] to own the creative vision for our AI-assisted promotional video platform.
This is a rare role at the intersection of craft and technology.

You will direct both editors and AI models - setting up the artistic and emotional bar for promotional content. Your work will reach audiences in every market Prime Video serves. The standards you set - for pacing, moment selection, editorial rhythm, sound, grade, and motion - will define what emotionally authentic, culturally resonant, promotional video looks like for the industry.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the creative vision and quality standards for AI-assisted promotional content, including ethical guardrails for how AI is used in production.
- Define what "good" looks like - the bar for craft, cultural resonance, and emotional authenticity - and hold output to it across every market.
- Design and lead hybrid human-plus-AI workflows that pair AI throughput with human creative and cultural refinement, so scale never comes at the cost of quality.

- Lead the operations ramp-up of the promotional content pipeline - standing up production capacity, staffing and training the creative team, and scaling throughput to meet volume commitments across markets.
- Partner with science, product, and engineering to translate creative judgment into structured signals that improve the models over time - capturing craft, not discarding it as one-off edits.
- Drive the global expansion of AI-assisted promotional content, ensuring output is culturally and linguistically resonant market by market.

- Build and mentor a distributed creative bench, establishing the direction and standards that scale across languages and regions.
- Champion the use of AI technology in creative contexts. At Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, our approach to the implementation of generative AI is human-centered.

We believe AI is an impactful tool that augments human creativity, never replacing it.
