At Tavern at Heathman, our culinary experiences are rooted in creativity, quality, and thoughtful execution. The Line Cook plays a key role in bringing the restaurant’s concept to life—preparing and executing dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.

This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food experiences.


Requested Tasks:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
  • Execute food production in a timely manner during service periods
  • Maintain consistency in quality, portioning, and plating of all dishes
  • Set up and maintain assigned workstation with proper mise en place
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
  • Assist with prep work, inventory organization, and storage as needed
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service
  • Perform quality checks on dishes before they are served
