Position Overview

This is an on-call, event/building attendant position with flexible scheduling and is not benefits-eligible. Hours will vary based on event needs and will primarily include evenings and weekends.

The UNM Alumni Association is seeking a personable, reliable, and highly motivated individual to serve as an ambassador for both the organization and the University.

Key Responsibilities

         Oversee events at Hodgin Hall Alumni Center and the Alumni Memorial Chapel

         Open and close facilities and remain onsite during scheduled events

         Serve as the on-site host, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for clients and guests

         Coordinate with vendors and assist with event logistics, including basic A/V setup and troubleshooting

         Provide excellent customer service and act as the primary point of contact during events

         Ensure facility use aligns with university policies and event guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

         Strong customer service and communication skills

         Ability to work evenings and weekends

         Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

         Ability to work independently and manage event responsibilities

Additional Requirements

         Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move event-related equipment as needed
