Job description

Role Overview:
This role is for a Citrix Network Administrator with a focus on Digital Citrix Administration and comprehensive network infrastructure management. The administrator will be responsible for engineering and maintaining remote access solutions and supporting the underlying network components.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and engineer Citrix XenApp 6.X / 7.X and Citrix XenDesktop 7 environments.
  • Manage and support remote access gateways, including Citrix, Cisco, and Juniper product lines.
  • Administer Citrix Access Gateway/Netscaler.
  • Understand and manage the relationship between network, storage, server, and database components within the Citrix farm.
  • Handle DNS and DHCP configurations.
  • Implement and maintain remote access solutions such as IPSec and SSL VPNs, along with associated data security designs.
  • Perform application deployment processes and functional network troubleshooting.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Required Skills:
  • Digital Citrix Administration expertise.
  • 3+ years of Network Administration and Infrastructure experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience with Citrix XenApp 6.X / 7.X and Citrix XenDesktop 7.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience with engineering and administration of remote access gateways covering Citrix, Cisco, and Juniper product lines.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Citrix Access Gateway/Netscaler.
  • Knowledge of the relationship of each component of the farm including: network, storage, server, and database.
  • Experience with DNS and DHCP.
  • Thorough knowledge of remote access solutions covering IPSec, SSL VPNs, and associated data security designs.
  • Strong Technical knowledge of Windows 2003/2008, Windows XP, Windows 7.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Altiris, MS Office 2003/2007/2010, Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of application deployment process.
  • Functional network troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of overall experience.
