JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for the material flow and storage in the dry goods/packaging warehouse. In this role, you will monitor and count inventory used in production on a daily basis. You will support our inventory operations, data management, research and analysis and safety and compliance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Responsible for supply issue of packaging and ingredients making corresponding adjustments in the system.
  • Maintain general food safe and plant safe housekeeping of parts room and maintenance shop.
  • Perform clerical tasks including receiving purchasing orders in the system, making proper systematic movements and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with purchasing manager and purchasing coordinator to review daily cycle count variances for packaging and ingredients.
  • Provide internal and externa communication on inventory status and inventory requests as needed.
  • Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM

  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

PREFERRED

  • Warehouse experience
  • Inventory experience
  • SAP experience
