Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of service line experience in left/right heart catheterization, PCI, and peripheral procedures.

Details
  • , within the Cath Lab
  • Performs left/right heart catheterization, PCI, peripheral procedures, device placement, and renal cases
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Hours may vary slightly based on patient scheduling
  • Call requirement of 12-15 days per month
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the cath lab service line required
  • ARRT or RCIS certification accepted
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, and CET certifications preferred
  • ARRT (R) certification preferred
  • Skilled in left and right heart catheterization, PCI, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion
  • Experience with EKG lead placement, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy preferred
  • Altera charting system experience preferred but not required
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Travel experience strongly preferred
  • Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing
  • Candidates must remain free of any substances that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products
  • Local candidates accepted within 150 miles for RN/LVN roles and 50 miles for Allied/CNA roles; local candidates not accepted for Allied/CNA positions
  • Previous perm staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
