CT Technologist

Position: CT Technologist
Shift: Nights – 5:30 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x13s – Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Guaranteed Hours: 39 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Preferred Start Date: 9/8 or 9/14
Floating: May be asked to float to another campus
EMR: Altera preferred

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures for adult acute-care patients.
  • Perform CT exams in the Emergency Department and hospital setting.
  • Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Follow radiation safety and infection-control procedures.
  • Provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after imaging.
  • Work collaboratively with the radiology team.
  • Float to another campus if needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of CT experience required.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) required.
  • Texas Medical Board MRT certification/license required.
  • BLS/CPR required.
  • Active license must be in hand at submission.
  • Experience with adult acute care and Emergency Department CT required.
  • Toshiba/Canon CT equipment experience strongly preferred.
  • Travel experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be flexible to float between campuses.
