Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population focuses primarily on individuals experiencing mental health difficulties related to the postpartum period, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. You will work closely with mothers who may also be dealing with the complexities of parenting, relationship dynamics, and self-care challenges. Your empathetic approach will guide them as they navigate their emotions and develop resilience.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Current and active licensure in Texas as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
  • At least two years of direct therapy experience in mental health settings, specifically working with maternal populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage clients effectively.
