Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Friday – Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Department: 720C MRI
Location: Cherokee, GA

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience required.
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
  • Current ARRT (MRI) Certification required.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification required.
  • Experience operating Siemens Aera and Siemens Altea 1.5T MRI systems (latest platform) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety guidelines, patient screening, and imaging protocols.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Screen and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring compliance with MRI safety standards.
  • Operate Siemens Aera and Altea 1.5T MRI scanners to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
  • Position and monitor patients throughout imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media when indicated and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in the electronic medical record system.
