Job description

Shift: 5:45pm -6:00am Sun, Mon, Tues, alt Sat. $1.50 shift differential rate!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate, set up, optimize, and troubleshoot label manufacturing equipment
  • Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and apply adhesives, inks, releases, and other materials
  • Complete minor repairs and perform preventative maintenance
  • Ensure correct raw materials are used during production
  • Log production data accurately using computer systems and logs
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 6S standards
  • Support material handling and packing operations
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional departments
  • Participate in safety training and proactive hazard identification
  • Contribute to training efforts and help develop SOPs, work instructions, and other documentation
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned

What It Takes

  • 2+ years of experience in printing or manufacturing preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with measuring tools like calipers, rulers, and gauges
  • Familiarity with working around moving machinery and safety protocols
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate equipment at various heights
  • Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software
  • High School diploma or GED preferred; a two-year technical degree is a plus
