People Architects is excited to partner with a leader in the custom home products industry to find a standout Marketing Content & Writing Specialist.


Position Summary:

The Marketing Content & Writing Specialistwill own written marketing content across the organization. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and partners closely with Sales, Product Management, and Leadership to gather information, synthesize it, and translate it into clear, customer-ready messaging.


This position is the central point of coordination for external customer communications. You'll help determine what content is needed, what it should say, and how it should be presented.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing and cross-functional teams to gather, clarify, and prioritize customer-facing messaging needs.
  • Serve as the primary writer for marketing content across channels, including websites, emails, blogs, social media, sales brochures, and presentations.
  • Lead content development for product launches, including launch emails, blog posts, website updates, and coordinated social messaging.
  • Produce email copy that is complete, accurate, and ready for distribution with minimal revision.
  • Develop recurring customer communications (e.g., monthly/quarterly newsletters) summarizing launches, updates, and key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify content gaps, gather feedback, and create materials that support selling efforts.
  • Create written content for sales presentations, including defining slide messaging and structure
  • Provide direction on visual/asset needs (photo/video/graphics): identify when assets are needed and define what's required; coordinate with internal/external resources.
  • Draft customer-facing copy that clients can use to promote products/programs to their own audiences.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand voice and flexes appropriately between B2B and consumer-facing audiences.
  • Organize content inputs, approvals, and final deliverables to ensure clarity, consistency, and timely execution.
  • Assist with formatting content into documents such as PDFs or presentations, as needed.


Qualifications (required and preferred):

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in a writing-focused marketing/communications/content role.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear customer-facing content.
  • Strong stakeholder management: able to gather inputs from multiple teams and synthesize into cohesive, ready-to-use materials.
  • Experience writing for web, email campaigns, social media, and sales materials.
  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaborative working style with Sales and cross-functional partners.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, email tools, and collaboration tools.
  • Design/layout/PowerPoint/Adobe InDesign experience is a plus (not required).
  • Ability to focus on clarity, accuracy, and effective messaging.
  • (PowerPoint skills are a plus, not required).
