Job Description
This position focuses on cultivating and managing relationships with endurance partners, St. Jude Heroes, and other peer-to-peer (P2P) supporters to drive fundraising initiatives for ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It combines relationship-building, strategic planning, and collaboration to enhance donor engagement and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Development: Build new, maintain existing and grow all donor-centric relationships with peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraisers and supporters, corporate and community teams, individuals, and volunteer through face-to-face and strategic communication.
  • Fundraising Leadership: Empower donors, supporters and volunteers with motivation, guidance, and resources to achieve fundraising success via personal visits, written correspondence, coordinated events, and digital platforms.
  • Program & Portfolio Management:
    • Focus on Fitness & Endurance programs (marathons, walks, runs) and P2P fundraising platforms including St. Jude Memphis Marathon.
    • Manage a broader portfolio of large corporate and community teams to activate fundraising participation.
    • Build and maintain a network of ambassadors and partners within the fitness community to enhance program offerings, support and incentives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement cultivation and stewardship strategies to enhance engagement and philanthropic contributions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to meet KPIs, integrate stewardship efforts, and align financial analysis with program goals.
  • Data-Driven Engagement: Use data insights and Peer-to-Peer platforms to analyze engagement and interactions to craft personalized touchpoints.

Representation: Serve as an ambassador for ALSAC/St. Jude, ensuring all interactions reflect the organization's mission and values
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in fundraising, development, customer service, or sales. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in peer-to-peer fundraising and team coaching.
  • Background in philanthropy, sales, or marketing.
  • Fitness & Endurance fundraising and event management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship building, collaboration, problem solving and organizational/project management skills.
  • 15-20% travel throughout the Delta Area (West TN, Mississippi and Arkansas)
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule to include working from our Territory Office in Memphis, TN.
