This role offers a competitive base salary with monthly performance-based bonus opportunities. While total compensation typically does not exceed $60,000 annually, it includes both fixed and variable components.
Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Equipment Repair Tech plays a key role in supporting patients and healthcare providers by facilitating access to rehabilitation equipment and services. This position focuses on building trusted relationships, coordinating care, and ensuring the proper functioning of mobility and rehab equipment through hands-on service and repair.
This role's primary responsibility is repairing rehabilitation durable medical equipment with a minor marketing aspect of creating/maintaining positive relationships with patients, care facilities, outpatient facilities and other medical facilities to market Alpine Home Medical and generate sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on rehab equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Repairing and providing upkeep to equipment in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Ordering parts and supplies and maintaining adequate inventory levels.
- Verifying warranty repair expenses.
- Maintaining proper documentation on all repairs.
- Collaborate with care facilities, outpatient centers, and other medical partners to support patient mobility and independence.
- Prepare and present equipment recommendations and quotes.
- Build and maintain strong B2B and B2C relationships with customers through personalized service and engagement.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment to effectively present products such as lift chairs, mobility aids, and hospital beds.
- Represent Alpine Home Medical at community events and through digital platforms to promote awareness of available services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical aptitude for performing equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of machinery and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, service-oriented approach.
- Ability to assess patient needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Well organized and detailed oriented with the ability to meet critical deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Self-motivated and resourceful, capable of adapting quickly to changing priorities and working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 100 lbs.
- Proficiency with computers and basic software tools.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience with Rehab/Mobility equipment.
- 1-2 years of experience with Sales and Marketing.
- Background in equipment services or repair work.
- ATP (Assistive Technology Professional) certification is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
