Job description

Who we are looking forState Street Alpha brings together our clients' choice of real-time data and intelligence across the investment cycle to help them make better decisions and deliver growth for their clients. We are the partner who can help them streamline and improve their day-to-day operations, freeing them to focus on innovation and growth.The State Street Alpha Services Optimization & Strategy team is looking for qualified individuals strong experience in documentation creation, project management, analysis, system flows and business architecture to help develop the foundational processes for client engagements and implementations of the industry's first ever front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail orientated and be able to move seamlessly between multiple projects and changing client requirements.The Alpha Services Optimization & Strategy role will be responsible for creating foundational processes and documentation, contributing to the due diligence, solution design, implementation/onboarding, and post-go-live efforts for several simultaneous client implementations. The role will include working on solutions not only for specific clients, but also as part of the core Alpha platform that will be leveraged across all Alpha clients.What you will be responsible for
  • Create repeatable and scalable processes, procedures, and artifacts related to Front-to-Back client engagements and implementations
  • Critically analyze and build upon existing collateral with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Oversight of key client deals to help ensure successful conversion of services, analyzing bespoke requirements and comparing against other Alpha implementations and industry standards
  • Champion best practices and drive adoption across the organization, working with cross-functional teams to ensure all angles are considered as part of the solution
  • Manage central databases across many dimensions that support Front-to-Back Capabilities
  • Become a product and platform subject matter expert (SME) on State Street's Front-to-Back platform
Education & Preferred QualificationsState Street considers all disciplines when hiring for a job and seeks out candidates who demonstrate the following:
  • Previous consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or above. 5 - 10 years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services and data domains.
  • Experience integrating with other industry software providers to promote platform interoperability (i.e. Bloomberg PORT, CRD, BRS Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Factset, Fidessa Minerva, Eze Software, etc.) (all portfolio management platforms)
  • A results-oriented individual with the persistence and patience necessary to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituents
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and lead team efforts
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral presentations
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills
  • Expert in MS Office including MS Visio and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline orientated, globally structured team-based environment

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $140,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
