Are you dependable, hard-working, and ready for a stable job that pays you every week? Do you want to be part of a team where your efforts truly matter - and make a difference in the lives of others?

AlohaHP is now hiring for a Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep position at a long-term care facility on Oahu. This is your opportunity to step into a consistent, meaningful role where your work supports the care of Hawaii's seniors. No guesswork. No empty hours. Just real work - real impact - and a real paycheck every week.

What You'll Be Doing

This is more than a dishwashing job. You'll be a vital part of the kitchen team, helping serve meals to residents who depend on our care.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cookware

  • Supporting kitchen prep: chopping, plating, stocking, and helping the cooks

  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, including sinks, prep areas, and trash stations

  • Staying on top of inventory and supply needs in the dish and prep areas

  • Assisting during meal service to ensure speed, cleanliness, and consistency

  • Following all food safety guidelines to protect our kupuna

Your work supports health, safety, and dignity. It's physical, focused, and rewarding - and you'll be an essential part of a team that respects what you do.

Set Weekly Schedule – No Surprises

Enjoy a dependable weekly routine:

  • Work Days: Wednesday through Sunday

  • Shifts Available:
    Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
    Evening Shift: 11:15 AM – 7:45 PM

  • Days Off: Monday & Tuesday

  • Pay: $18/hour – paid weekly (every Friday)

Forget rotating shifts and last-minute changes - this job offers the structure and consistency you deserve.

Transportation Requirement

You must have reliable personal transportation for this role.
Public transportation does not run early or late enough to match shift times, and punctuality is required for the safety and flow of the kitchen.

Please do not apply unless you can consistently arrive on time using your own transportation.

Who We're Looking For

You do not need prior kitchen or dish experience - we'll train the right person. But we are looking for individuals who are:

Dependable and on-time every day
Comfortable working on your feet and in a physical role
Able to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards
Team-oriented and respectful to coworkers and residents
Ready to take pride in honest work
Able to provide your own transportation to and from work

If that sounds like you, you'll thrive here - and we'd love to meet you.

Why Work with AlohaHP?

AlohaHP is Hawaii's trusted staffing partner for healthcare and hospitality. We match good people with good jobs - and we back that up with:

Weekly pay - every Friday, without fail
Stable scheduling - know your hours and your days off in advance
Supportive team environment - be part of a crew that values effort and teamwork
Real impact - your work helps serve meals to Hawaii's elders every single day
Growth potential - this could be the first step toward more opportunities in healthcare or food service

This is a chance to work with purpose and professionalism - with a company that respects your time and pays you every week.
