Job description

AlohaHP is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii in a hybrid capacity. This role offers a competitive salary of 80,000 to 85,000 and is ideal for a sales professional with experience in transportation, logistics, and business-to-business sales who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

As an Account Executive with AlohaHP, you will play a key role in developing new business opportunities while strengthening and expanding existing client relationships across Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam. This is a field sales position where approximately sixty percent of your time will be spent meeting clients in person, visiting warehouses and offices, and presenting solutions face to face. The remaining time will be focused on prospecting, setting appointments, following up with leads, researching new opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of your sales pipeline.

You will be responsible for selling a range of freight and logistics services, including less-than-truckload and less-than-container shipments as well as full truckload and full container solutions. Your success will be measured by your ability to open new accounts, generate revenue, and build long-term client partnerships that continue to grow over time. You will work closely with leadership to identify strategic goals for client relationships and ensure smooth account implementation while maintaining a high level of service.

This role requires a strong ability to communicate, negotiate, and solve problems in real time. You should be comfortable managing multiple client interactions, staying organized with your pipeline, and navigating the challenges of a competitive sales environment. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, confident in face-to-face sales situations, and motivated by results.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience along with one to three years of experience in LTL or LCL sales. Experience in transportation, logistics services, and business-to-business sales is required. A solid understanding of shipping terminology, pricing structures, and sales cycles is essential. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.

This is not a desk-bound role. It is best suited for someone who enjoys being out in the field, building relationships, and actively pursuing new business opportunities. While the role offers strong earning potential and the opportunity to develop meaningful client partnerships, it also requires persistence, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection while staying focused on long-term success. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

If you are ready to take ownership of your sales territory, build a strong client base, and contribute to a growing organization, we encourage you to apply.

Apply now at alohahp.com/apply. For immediate consideration, call 808-501-6775 and ask to speak with Anthony Cordo.
