Job Description

Allstar Ford Stonewall is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, with a primary focus on the Ford product line. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their workmanship and is eager to stay at the forefront of automotive technology.

Job Type
  • Full-time

Schedule
  • Monday through Friday

  • Rotating Saturdays

  • No Sundays

Pay
  • $30 - $55 per hour (Flag Hour)

Work Requirements
  • Ability to commute to Stonewall, LA required

  • In-person position

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Previous professional automotive repair experience (Ford experience preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC.

  • Perform routine maintenance and multi-point safety inspections with high attention to detail.

  • Execute manufacturer recalls and warranty repairs to Ford factory specifications.

  • Provide clear, accurate, and professional documentation of all work performed.

  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair estimates and timelines.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay.

  • Participate in Ford factory training and stay current on evolving vehicle technology.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an automotive service environment.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (IDS/FDRS experience is a plus).

  • Team-player attitude with a commitment to shop safety and quality control.

  • Professional work ethic and reliable attendance.

  • Ownership of a professional set of automotive tools.
