Role Overview

The Head of Advised Asset Allocation leads the research team responsible for developing personalized asset allocation frameworks that translate client goals, preferences, and financial circumstances into scalable portfolio solutions for wealth clients.


The role oversees allocation methodology, portfolio modeling, capital market assumptions, and wealth portfolio design in partnership with investment management, product, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead asset allocation, portfolio construction, and model portfolio frameworks for wealth portfolios.

  • Design scalable personalized investment recommendations aligned to client goals, risk capacity, income needs, taxes, liquidity, and legacy objectives.

  • Advance portfolio methodology, research, capital market assumptions, analytics, and technology-enabled personalization.

  • Equip advisors with recommendation frameworks, decision tools, communications, and guidance for complex client situations.

  • Oversee governance, risk, suitability, model performance, and team leadership across investment and cross-functional partners.

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team with strong investment, analytical, and client-focused capabilities.

What it will take

  • 10+ years of experience in wealth management, investment strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, or multi-asset investing.

  • Significant experience developing portfolio recommendations for individual investors.

  • Deep expertise in asset allocation, risk management, and personalized portfolio construction.

  • Experience leading investment teams and influencing senior business stakeholders.

  • Track record of translating sophisticated investment concepts into scalable client solutions.
