Job Description:

The Senior Manager of the SAP Product Team is responsible for the strategic planning, execution and continual improvement of SAP solutions for the Allison Transmission business unit. The role will lead a global team of functional and technical SAP professionals in the delivery and support of a portfolio of SAP solutions to meet business objectives. The senior manager must ensure that the team meets the business goals, objectives and expected business outcomes while ensuring alignment with architectural governance, standards, security practices & regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the SAP product team in the design, development, implementation and ongoing support of SAP solutions and peripheral systems to deliver required business outcomes
  • Accountable for the overall planning, organization, staffing, training, and management of the SAP product team.
  • Alignment of business case with total cost of ownership to ensure proper financial investment
  • Actively participates in the development and socialization of strategic road maps across all solutions.
  • Defines future state roadmaps to deliver upon needed business capabilities.
  • Collaboration with business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize accordingly
  • Accountable for the overall creation and documentation of solution designs and analysis based on the translation of business and technical requirements.
  • Manages the engagement of SAP product team with other departmental product teams to ensure support of business requirements throughout the products lifecycle.
  • Holistically manages all current SAP solutions to ensure continual alignment with business value over time and manages end of life decisions.
  • Manages vendor relationships and ensure service level obtainment
  • Lead and the SAP Center of Excellence
  • Collaborate with the other business unit in defining and supporting SAP Strategy for the organization.
  • Enable Continuous improvement and Innovation with SAP product team.
