Job description

Job Opportunity: Field Technician (Training Provided) with Allied Technical Services in Marengo, OH (outside Columbus)Do you enjoy handson, mechanical work and being in the field instead of stuck behind a desk? Are you reliable, safety-minded, and open to learning new systems? Do you like working with tools, equipment, and solving problems on site? If so, apply today!

Allied Technical Services is hiring a Field Pump Technician to support temporary pump and piping systems for municipal, industrial, and construction projects. If you're mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we provide onthejob training and a clear path for growth.

Pay & Benefits

  • $18-$20/hour to start (based on experience)
  • Guaranteed 40 hours/week + overtime opportunities
  • Paid travel time for applicable jobs
  • Company vehicle provided for work use during working hours
  • PTO, benefits, safety equipment, and inhouse training provided

What You'll Do

  • Install, operate, and service temporary pump and piping systems
  • Load, unload, and transport pumps and related equipment
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, or similar machinery (training provided as needed)
  • Complete basic documentation for rented equipment
  • Work primarily at job sites across Central Ohio, with some regional travel (OH/KY/IN)
  • Participate in an afterhours/oncall rotation (shared within the team and scheduled in advance)

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude or handson experience in construction, utilities, maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
  • Willingness to do physical, outdoor work with proper safety equipment provided
  • Experience with forklifts, skid steers, or heavy equipment is a plus (not required)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
