Job description

Allied Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher for our concrete teams in Billings, MT. We are looking for workers with experience in the following:
  • Placing forms to hold concrete ensuring the required depth and pitches are achieved.
  • Monitoring the effect heat, wind, and cold have on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results.
  • Broom, Top Cast, Stamp & Burt in Finishes
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
  • Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
  • Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids.
  • Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.

NOTE: These duties listed are meant to describe the general scope of the work. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs within the organization.
OTHER:
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
  • Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas. Construction site work environment - will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.
