Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2376

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

RN - Oncology Nurse

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float as needed to other areas in 4-hour blocks, floating before staff RNs
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed
• Care for a patient population primarily consisting of surgical oncology and medical oncology patients, with a small population receiving chemotherapy treatments
• Patient ratios range from 4:1 or 5:1 on days and PMs; night shift is normally 5:1 but can reach up to 7:1
• Night shift will always have techs on; CNAs are scheduled for all shifts
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required; 1 year on a Med-Surg Oncology unit preferred; oncology experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and Chemotherapy certification
• Epic EMR experience preferred; previous electronic charting experience required if no Epic experience
• Equipment used includes Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any scrub color is acceptable

The unit is equipped with modern technology and staffed with skilled healthcare professionals committed to delivering high-quality oncology care. The facility supports its nursing staff with CNAs and patient care technicians across all shifts to maintain optimal patient care standards.
