Job description

Job Summary:
Stefanini North America and APAC is a global provider of IT services, offering solutions to Fortune 1000 enterprises. They are seeking a Deskside Technician II to provide technical support for IT equipment in a corporate environment, including desktop and laptop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing IT assets.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting IT equipment in large corporate environment
• Desktop/laptop tech support (Mac and PC)
• Windows 11 operating systems
• Support mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless, VPN, etc.
• IMAC Support - IT equipment Install/Move/Add/Change
• Maintain repairs, spare parts, and components
• Research and troubleshoot problems
• Maintain system configurations and documentation
• Track and resolve customer incidents and requests through the client's ticketing tool
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows devices
• Backup, restoration, and migration of user data
• Smart Hands support with networking, server, and telecommunications technologies
• Printer and peripheral device support
• Inventory management of IT assets including asset auditing
• Ability to research and follow appropriate KB articles
• Ability to work on-call and other after-hours support needs
• May provide Executive support
• Various other tasks associated with deskside services
• May need to be available to provide support at other client locations as needed
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years corporate deskside support or equivalent experience
• Willing to embrace innovative tools and technology such as AI and IT health monitoring software to expedite resolution and enhance customer experience
• Excellent troubleshooting capability
• Ability to maintain composure while handle challenging, dynamic, rapid-response user support
• Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 suite
• Experience with computer imaging software and data migration processes (e.g., SCCM, Intune)
• Experience with endpoint protection and encryption (Bitlocker) support
• Familiarity with using remote desktop support tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Maintain valid driver's license
• Walk, bend, stand for prolong periods of time, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
• Physical presence at a Stefanini or Client location during shift
• Demonstrate high level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
• Maintain neat and professional work area and appearance in compliance with site policies
• Ability to pass standard panel drug screening and background check
• Adhere to assigned shift schedule
Preferred:
• A+ Certification
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
• Windows architecture including permissions and file structure
• Mac/Apple experience, a plus
• Experience with Basic network concepts (Active Directory / Workstation - Domain Trust Relationship)
