Duties and Responsibilities
โ Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
โ Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals
โ Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
โ Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
โ Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests
โ Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
โ Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
โ Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
โ Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
โ Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification
โ Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
โ Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law
โ Must be at least 18 years of age
โ Long term care experience preferred
โ Current CPR certification required
โ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
โ Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
