Job DescriptionSummary:Alcon Industries is looking for a Fabrication Manager responsible for the design, engineering drawings, and integrity of the layouts for Alcon’s fabricated products. This individual will work with customers and Alcon personnel in Engineering, Operations, and Sales to create and monitor the development of Alcon’s fabricated offerings. The Fabrication Manager also works to continuously improve the materials and labor process and the development of cost estimates and quotes.

- Directly supervises shop employees.

- Welding experience of at least 5 years and Fabrication experience of at least 5 years.
- Analyzes demand signals and determines scheduling accordingly.
- Mechanical working knowledge of metal fabrication equipment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to use measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Quality communications and development of good working relationships with others in the organization, including customer communication.
- Ability to be flexible, be readily adaptable, and work in a rapidly and constantly changing environment.
- Possess superior organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Possesses a high degree of personal accountability, self-motivated with a strong bias for action.
