We are expanding our team and looking for a driven Sales Executive who excels at acquiring new clients in the US land drilling sector.
This is a high-impact role focused primarily on new business development. The ideal candidate will be proactive and consultative, skilled at identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities with Oil & Gas operators while building lasting customer relationships.
AKM Enterprises is a Houston-based SaaS company providing real-time drilling data analytics. Our platform helps E&P operators simplify workflows during well construction, reduce drilling costs and risks, and benchmark performance against nearby operators using sensor data.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and consistently meet or exceed sales targets in the US land drilling market
- Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts with Oil & Gas (E&P) operators through targeted outreach and strategic selling
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives at operating companies
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
- Leverage deep industry knowledge to position AKM’s SaaS drilling analytics platform as a solution that delivers measurable improvements in performance, cost reduction, and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in a B2B environment
- 7+ years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with strong knowledge of drilling operations on US land
- Proven track record of consistently over-achieving sales quotas
- Experience selling SaaS or data analytics solutions to Oil & Gas operators is highly preferred
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels

- Type: Contract-to-Hire (with strong potential for full-time conversion)
- Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure
