Performance Tuning and Documentation of AIX Environments

GPFS is a MUST HAVE

Skills Required:

Critical

GPFS architecture design / Power7 

GPFS installation / AIX 

GPFS tuning and troubleshooting 

GPFS upgrades 

GPFS LUN resizing / migration

5 years in a systems admin role in a AIX environment (Senior)

(3) years administration of a high performance cluster and three years implementing system virtualization (Senior)

Installation/Configuration AIX 5.x, AIX 6.x, Power4, Power5, Power6, AIX HACMP, AIX VIOS (Virtual Server Environment - LPAR, DLPAR, VPAR)

Performance tuning, capacity management in the above AIX platforms (Senior)

Experience in Architecture/Design of IBM Server Infrastructure (Senior)

Demonstrated proficiency in UNIX /Linux variants, i.e. AIX, RedHat, CentOS, and Solaris

Demonstrated understanding of shell scripting, Perl, C, C++, , Apache, Samba, Kerberos, IPMI, SVN, Python, DNS and Active Directory integration

Good to have skills like Make, GNU Autoconf, Torque, MOAB, Kickstart

Demonstrated verbal, written, listening and analytical skills

Excellent Troubleshooting Skills.
