Transportation Security Officer: Airport Computer Operations Patrol

As a Transportation Security Officer: Airport Computer Operations Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements:

  • 18+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with airport operations and emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
