Job description

Job Title: Airport Compliance Supervisor

Department: Flight Ops Support

Reports to: International Flight Clearance Manager

FLSA Status: Nonexempt

SUMMARY:

The Airport Compliance Supervisor supports international flight operations by ensuring the airline’s compliance with airport-specific operating restrictions, including slot coordination and noise quota limitations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Monitor and ensure compliance with airport slot allocations at coordinated and slot-controlled airports.
  2. Coordinate with Network Planning and Sales to track slot availability and implementation rates.
  3. Track and manage noise quota usage, curfews, and night operating restrictions at international airports.
  4. Communicate with airport authorities, slot coordinators, and noise offices regarding compliance matters, clarifications, and operational exceptions.
  5. Maintain accurate records of slot usage, waivers, historical performance, and noise quota consumption.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience in airline operations, international flight clearance, scheduling, or regulatory compliance.
  2. Experience working with slot coordinators and airport authorities.
  3. Familiarity with noise quota systems, curfews, and airport operating restrictions.
  4. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple airports, time zones, and operational priorities simultaneously.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable. Must have good working knowledge of world geography, air cargo, and aircraft ground operations. Must possess exceptional attention to detail and abstract problem solving capabilities. Experience in a flight dispatch center helpful. FAA Dispatcher’s license desirable, but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
