Job Summary:
Responsible for servicing of aircraft lavatories. This includes unloading lavatory waste, cleaning the lavatory system, and refilling the lavatory fluid.

Job Duties:
  • Operate the lavatory equipment.
  • Ensure timely availability of lavatory equipment, including its fueling and maintenance.
  • Service aircraft lavatories by emptying waste receptacles.
  • Use lavatory and sanitary water equipment to empty, flush and fill aircraft systems.
  • Follow environmental procedures while emptying waste trucks and fueling the same.
  • Clean aircraft lavatories and empty waste receptacles.
  • Adhere to all safety and other procedures and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
  • Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
  • Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Has a Driving License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the license required for driving lavatory service vehicle.
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend. Will have to occasionally lift, move and carry: weights up to 70lbs, climb and crawl.

Working conditions:
  • Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
  • Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
